DM Reviews Public Grievances at Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas, Directs Time-Bound Redressal.

Shahjahanpur, August 1, 2026: District Magistrate Dharmendra Pratap Singh chaired the Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas at Kalan Tehsil on Saturday, where he heard public grievances and directed officials to ensure timely, transparent, and quality disposal of all complaints. Superintendent of Police Saurabh Dixit was also present during the grievance redressal programme.
A total of 58 complaints related to various government departments were received during the event, out of which five were resolved on the spot. The remaining complaints were forwarded to the concerned departments with instructions for prompt and effective action within the stipulated timeframe.
Addressing officials, the District Magistrate said the primary objective of the Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas is to provide lasting and effective solutions to public grievances. He instructed all departments to treat every complaint on a priority basis so that citizens are not forced to make repeated visits to government offices.
He emphasized that grievance disposal should not remain a mere formality but must be satisfactory and result-oriented. In cases related to revenue disputes, he directed joint teams of the Revenue and Police Departments to conduct impartial field inspections and ensure fair action.
The District Magistrate further stressed that sensitivity, transparency, accountability, and promptness must remain the guiding principles in resolving public issues, thereby strengthening public confidence in the administration.
Among those present were Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Sachin Kumar, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Vivek Kumar Mishra, Project Director Avdhesh Ram, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Kalan) Ashutosh Kumar, and other district-level officials.
