Tricolor Rally Echoes with Slogans of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’; 30 Female and 400 Male Home Guard Personnel Participate.
Shahjahanpur, August 14. On the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Vande Mataram, a grand Tricolor Rally was organized in Shahjahanpur district on Friday under the nationwide ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan-2026’. The rally was organized by the Home Guards Department under the leadership of District Commandant Home Guards, Lal Sahab Yadav.
The chief guest, Uttar Pradesh Finance and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna, along with special guest Jaiprakash Tiwari, Jail Superintendent, Shahjahanpur, and other dignitaries participated in the rally. The minister flagged off the rally.
Amid enthusiastic slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram,” the rally began from GIC Tiraha and passed through Sudama Chauraha, Khirni Bagh and Bahadurganj before reaching the statues of martyrs Ashfaqullah Khan, Pandit Ram Prasad Bismil, Thakur Roshan Singh, and freedom fighter Prem Krishna Khanna near the Municipal Corporation Town Hall. The guests and officials paid floral tributes and paid homage to the martyrs. The rally thereafter concluded at Shaheed Udyan, Town Hall.
A total of 30 female Home Guards and 400 male Home Guard personnel, along with all paid and honorary officers of the district, enthusiastically participated in the rally. Through the rally, citizens were given the message of respecting the National Flag, maintaining the unity and integrity of the nation, and demonstrating a sense of duty and dedication towards the country.
The enthusiasm and discipline displayed by the Home Guard personnel during the rally remained a special attraction. The event created an atmosphere of patriotism across the city and further strengthened the spirit of nationalism among the people.
