Important Meeting Held Between Ulema and Police to Ensure Peaceful Conduct of Juloos-e-Muhammadi on August 26.
Tilhar/Shahjahanpur: On the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Prophet of Islam, Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), a significant meeting was held at Khanqah-e-Shamsiya to ensure that the Juloos-e-Muhammadi, scheduled to be taken out in the town on August 26, is conducted peacefully and in an organized manner.
The meeting was held at the residence of Sajjadah Nashin of Khanqah-e-Shamsiya, Iqbal Hussain alias Phool Miyan, located in Mohalla Kachcha Katra.
Addressing the meeting, City Imam Mohammad Swaleh Shaddan Miyan appealed to the participants not to use any objectionable or inappropriate material on carts or other vehicles during the procession. He said that only Naat recitations and Salat-o-Salam should be played through microphones and that the occasion should be celebrated peacefully and joyfully in honour of the Prophet’s arrival.
He also appealed to participants to carry the National Flag (Tricolour) along with green flags during the procession. However, he made it clear that steel rods or heavy pipes of any kind should not be used.
City Qazi Mohammad Akram Saleem said that no unnecessary speeches, sermons, discussions on unrelated subjects or slogans should be made, whether through microphones or otherwise. He also urged participants to remain mindful of pedestrians and other road users.
Regarding the distribution of langar, he appealed to those distributing food in the localities not to throw it on the road or towards people. Instead, food should be respectfully handed directly to people.
Mauzpur Outpost In-charge Devesh Kumar said that organizers of every Anjuman or group participating in the procession should submit the Aadhaar details and photographs of 10 volunteers from their respective groups. Identity cards will be issued by the main organizer to these volunteers, who will remain with their respective groups and assist in maintaining discipline and orderly conduct during the procession.
The meeting was attended by City Imam Mohammad Swaleh Shaddan Miyan, City Qazi Mohammad Akram (Mohammad Saleem), Munnन Miyan, Imam Ahmed Raza, Master Matloob Ali, Qari Idris, Qari Adeeb Ali, Hafiz Naseem, Hafiz Sohail, Hafiz Aqeel, Hafiz Zahid alias Guddu Miyan, Arman Raza, Hafiz Ghulam Ahmed Raza, Mohammad Rais Qureshi, Sharif Qureshi and others.
