Family Counseling Center Police Lines, Shahjahanpur.
July 16, 2026. Under the able guidance of the Superintendent of Police, Shahjahanpur, a session of the Family Counseling Center was organized today at the Police Lines, Shahjahanpur. A total of 20 case files were heard, and one couple was successfully reconciled and sent home together.
One of the cases belonged to Banda Police Station area. The couple had been married for nearly two years and has a six-month-old daughter. The wife had been living at her parental home for the past one month, alleging that her husband used to assault her after consuming alcohol. During the counseling session, the wife expressed her willingness to live with her husband. The husband admitted his mistake and assured the counselors that he would take responsibility for his wife and daughter and bear all their expenses.
Both parties were called before the Family Counseling Center, where they were counseled and encouraged to resolve their differences through mutual understanding. After the counseling process, the couple reached an amicable settlement and agreed to live together. They were then safely sent home by the Family Counseling Center.
The session was attended by In-charge of the Family Counseling Center, Woman Sub-Inspector Mrs. Madhu Yadav, Head Woman Constable Chandrakanta Sharma, Woman Constables Neha Chauhan, Monika Kumari, Sheetal Chauhan, Rashmi Chaudhary, Nisha Mishra, Constable Rinku, and other police personnel.
