Awareness Rally Held to Promote National Lok Adalat, Students Deliver Message of Justice.
Shahjahanpur, September 3: An awareness rally was organized on Thursday under the aegis of the District Legal Services Authority to promote the upcoming National Lok Adalat, scheduled to be held on September 12. District Judge and Chairman of the District Legal Services Authority, Dharmendra Kumar Pandey, flagged off the rally in which students from various schools participated.
On the occasion, the District Judge said that the National Lok Adalat provides an effective platform for the speedy disposal of a large number of pending cases through mutual settlement and compromise. He emphasized the importance of using the rally to spread awareness among the general public about the significance and benefits of the Lok Adalat.
He directed all judicial officers to identify as many pending cases as possible in their respective courts so that maximum cases could be disposed of during the upcoming National Lok Adalat. He also stressed the need for effective publicity and awareness campaigns to ensure the success of the National Lok Adalat.
Students from various schools participated enthusiastically in the rally and spread awareness among the public about the National Lok Adalat and its benefits.
Presiding Officer, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Judge Mohammad Rizwan Ahmad; Principal Judge, Family Court, Narendra Kumar-III; Additional District and Sessions Judge Suresh Kumar Sharma; Additional District and Sessions Judge Shiv Kumar-III; Chief Judicial Magistrate Jyoti Agrawal; Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Apeksha Singh; Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Manish Kumar Singh, along with other judicial officers, staff members and Legal Aid Defense Counsel System (LADCS) advocates, were present on the occasion.
The entire staff of the District Legal Services Authority, Shahjahanpur, extended special cooperation in making the programme successful.
