Grand Tiranga Rally Led by DM Draws Huge Public Participation in Shahjahanpur.

Shahjahanpur, August 13: A grand Tiranga Rally was organized in Shahjahanpur on Thursday under the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign-2026. The rally started from Government Inter College, Khirnibagh, and passed through Kachahri Chauraha, Sadar Bazaar and Town Hall before concluding at Shaheed Udyan Park. A large number of school students, NCC cadets, government officials and local residents participated enthusiastically in the rally.
District Magistrate Dharmendra Pratap Singh inaugurated the rally at Government Inter College by garlanding the portrait of Goddess Saraswati and releasing balloons. The rally began with the national song, with students carrying the Tricolour and raising patriotic slogans such as “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” “Vande Mataram” and “Inquilab Zindabad.” The entire route was filled with patriotic fervour amid the beats of bands, drums and traditional musical instruments.
The District Magistrate said that the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign-2026 is being celebrated with pride and enthusiasm from August 9 to August 17. The objective of the campaign is to strengthen respect for the National Flag, patriotism and the spirit of national unity among citizens. He said that various programmes are being organized not only at the district headquarters but also at the tehsil, block and gram panchayat levels.
District Magistrate Dharmendra Pratap Singh, Municipal Commissioner Soumya Gururani, Chief Development Officer Utkarsh Dwivedi, City Magistrate Rajnikant, District Inspector of Schools Harivansh Kumar, Basic Education Officer Jaishankar Srivastava and other officials also participated in the rally carrying the National Flag. The officials appealed to citizens to hoist the Tricolour at their homes on Independence Day and strengthen the spirit of respect and responsibility towards the nation.
The District Magistrate also appealed to citizens to participate in the digital celebration of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign. He urged people to click selfies with the Tricolour and sing Vande Mataram, and upload their participation on the Har Ghar Tiranga website.
The rally, featuring enthusiastic participation from students of various schools, became a major attraction in the city. The sight of Tricolours waving along the route and the echoing patriotic slogans filled the atmosphere with national pride. The rally aimed to further strengthen the spirit of patriotism, national unity and respect for the National Flag among the people.
